Lee Frost biography Lee Frost picked up a camera for the first time at the age of 15 and has been obsessed with photography ever since. A former editor of Photo Answers magazine and assistant editor of Practical Photography, he was tempted by the freelance life at the age of 25, and over the last decade has established himself as one of the UK's most prolific writers on photographic technique, with a string of successful books to his name including the best-selling Taking Pictures for Profit, the A-Z of Creative Photography, Personal Views: The Art of Colour Landscape Photography and The Complete Guide to Night & Low-Light Photography. He has also illustrated landscape books on Northumbria and Dartmoor, and is currently working on his tenth book - Filters and How to Use Them. When he's not writing about photography you'll find Lee behind a camera. His work is represented by leading picture libraries and has been published throughout the world. Travels this year will take him to Namibia, Morocco, The Seychelles, Tuscany, Provence, Venice and throughout the United Kingdom. Lee is also a sought-after photographic tutor, and leads workshops both in the UK and overseas.
